This year our district is lucky to be a part of the 1:1 Initiative through Apple. Each child in our district has been given an iPad to be used for instruction. We found an amazing program, Kids A-Z, that allows each child to practice reading stories on his/her reading level using the iPad. The Califone Multi-Media Headphones will allow each child to use the program to its fidelity by listening to the story modeled aloud before reading it independently. We will also be able to use the headphones with Pebble Go. A science/social studies site that reads text aloud to students who struggle with reading. The Califone Multi-Media Headphones would be a tremendous asset to our learning experiences.
