Much of the teaching in my first grade classroom revolves around hands on centers and individualized instruction. I plan each day's activities to go along with state standards and individual needs at the same time. In my classroom we are greatly lacking the technology needed to prepare students for the 21st century. These tablets will allow my students to engage in hands on, technologically relevant, and engaging educational apps/programs that will help them succeed in multiple subject areas. These tablets will give my students exposure to high quality technology resources that they are otherwise lacking - and will contribute to their academic growth.

About my class
