My 5th grade students will utilize these materials in many different ways in the classroom. These materials will assist me in my literacy small groups in the skills that I teach in my classroom such as inferencing, cause and effect, and much more in where I assist students in their reading growth along with other supplemental materials to master their literacy skills. These materials will not only interest the students to read, but help engage them to want to read. I spend my own funds trying to supply reading materials purchased through second hand stores, but most of the materials I find are either out dated or falling apart not to mention the lacking funds I do not have to create my small group teaching materials in literacy. I as well as my class would be eternally grateful for these materials as part of their learning education in literacy.
