The ability to have simple supplies, the capacity to remember those supplies, and to be honest, even the desire to have those supplies in class, is as diverse as the students themselves. This diversity can be crippling to not only the entire class' educational opportunity but more importantly to those vary students that are not comfortable with success to begin with. I'm requesting a variety of classroom supplies including pencil carrying cases, Crayola colored pencils, Sticky Flat Notes, memo books, glue sticks, pencils, sharpeners, and BIC pens. To equip every student with their own supply pouch, that they keep in the room, that they can add to, that I can talk with them privately (through the memo pads), and to ensure every student has the materials needed to succeed, is essential to continue the safe learning community that these students so desperately need!
