The students from our Title 1 school have very limited at home libraries. Many students are mobile and do not own many books. Many families have limited room and money to purchase and store their own books. They need to have access to reading materials at all times, day or night. The Longview Little Free Library is open 365 days a year, seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day! Having many nonfiction titles and new books in the library will entice more students to visit it and take books home for their own libraries, improving their literacy skills along the way!
