Classroom culture is number one. Students must feel comfortable and welcome in order to feel ready to learn. Flexible seating is an opportunity for students to practice responsibility and self-awareness as they learn more about themselves as learners. The book totes will also allow students to bring books home to read daily. A durable tote will make it easy for students to stay organized and continue their passion for reading. Just like adults, children need to move during the day and READ! My students are already ravenous readers, so I know these items will be loved in our classroom.
