There are many ways that these iPads will help with learning in my Pre-K classroom. These iPads will give the students access to technology that is age appropriate and is reliable. While we have desktop computers in the classroom they are often hard for the children to navigate or do not work. The iPads are kid friendly and offer a magnitude of apps designed to enhance my students' learning. Across our country and especially in urban and low-income settings we see the achievement gap continue to grow. It is my belief and hope that these iPads will allow my students access to hands-on and engaging activities to bringing them one step closer to closing that gap. With iPads anything is possible.
