My classroom is in need of four rugs and an easel to better accommodate my students while in centers and in small group instruction. Centers are like a gold mine in classrooms that accommodate students with different learning styles and their various needs. My school is in the process of installing new tile floors. However, it might be a little uncomfortable for my students who like to sit, lay, or sprawl out on the floors during centers. Let's face it, the best kind of learning takes place when a child feels comfortable and relaxed! Rugs will allow my students to feel comfortable and at ease as they are learning. Also, an easel will really help out with my kids during small group instruction and also as an anchor chart aid!
