Students will be able to further cultivate the following skills to prepare them for college: effective note-taking, marking the text, test-taking strategies, and organization skills. Binders will be used everyday and will be a crucial part of students' daily routines in class. They will personalize their binders and make them their own. Students will utilize these binders by placing their work in chronological order, furthering their organizational skills. Binders will also help students take notes, vocabulary, revise work and study. Highlighters will enable students to effectively mark texts studied, highlighting key ideas, key words and concepts. Highlighters further promote students' focus on attention to detail, chunking and chewing new information, analyzing and synthesizing new material. These skills are crucial to have in high school and college.
