I would use the Chromebooks through research and writing development that my students participate in once every nine weeks. In my classroom, we have a focus novel that study every nine weeks. Before we dive into the novel, my students are broken into groups and are asked to do research project based on an important topic that will be dealt with in the upcoming novel. The students work in pairs to research, which is where the Chromebooks will be greatly appreciated. After their research is completed, they are asked to create a presentation, which is another area in where the Chromebooks will be utilized, This project maybe in the form of a slide show or graphic images with text to express what they have learned through their research.
