Each year more and more students are having difficulty concentrating on academics. They are more fidgety and need more brain breaks. Flexible seating would give those students a way to still focus on their academic work without being distracted by how they were sitting. Many of my students already have more than enough distractions in their lives. Many students stay at our after school program until late in the evening. Some are being taken care of by older siblings. I would love to not have sitting during instruction be an additional distraction. I'm excited to see how this will help my students stay more focused on the learning.
