My students are curious, creative, and hardworking learners who bring their own strengths and experiences to our classroom. They have learning disabilities that can sometimes make reading challenging and affect their confidence. Most of my students are bilingual in English and Spanish, and they learn in a small, supportive special education classroom. They thrive when they have engaging materials, encouragement, and opportunities to learn in ways that work best for them. I want my classroom to be a place where every student feels capable, included, and proud of their learning.
