As a newer teacher, it has been incredibly difficult balancing my student loans with the every day costs of being a teacher. I've worked incredibly hard to get my classroom as functional for my students as possible, but one area of my classroom that is lacking is my library. It's been a struggle paying for books with my own money. Appropriate grade level books for my ESL students is crucial for their language development and will forever change the functionality of my classroom. Having books tailored to student reading levels will me plan and execute better guided reading lessons for all kids.
