This project will cover the registration cost so that I can attend the one-day educator training at The Ron Clark Academy (RCA) in Atlanta, Georgia. RCA is well known for highly engaging teaching methods, rigorous academics, high expectations, a school climate that provides success for all students, and passionate educators that love what they do. This professional development opportunity will allow me to observe new student engagement strategies to strengthen my teaching in order to help all learners be successful. At this training at RCA, I will be able to observe classrooms, attend workshops, strengthen my teaching strategies, and learn from master teachers. RCA is known for how they have transformed the educational climate and the way teachers engage students in the content they are learning. I hope to be able to attend this training so I can not only become a more impactful teacher for my students but also be able to share ideas with my co-workers as we strive each day to engage and challenge our students. Thank you so much for considering my project.
