I'm in the process of creating a reading center for my students. I want to have a variety of books that will help them become excited about reading. I want to include a section in my classroom where they will be comfortable so that we can participate in what I like to call "Comfy Friday" during this time the students will cuddle up with a favorite book and enjoy quiet time while allowing their mind to go into a different world. Once they are done each student will complete a star that will be placed on the wall. They will provide information about the book and tell what they loved about it. This will hopefully get other students to read that book as well.
