The three puzzles requested will help reinforce key concepts that are taught throughout the school year.It will allow students the chance to improve their sense of self and take responsibility for their learning while in free choice time. Last year we worked heavily on matching letters and learning letter sounds to improve literacy skills. The letter puzzle will help encourage students and motivate them. We also worked rigorously on number identification and quantities. The two math puzzles will play a key role in students gaining knowledge while being independent. I know that using both the literacy puzzles and the math puzzles will be great hands on tools my students can use.
