Our diverse learners come with diverse skill sets and needs. Research shows that students are more successful in the classroom when they can wiggle while they work. Our school is focusing on teaching the whole child. With that, we are arranging our classroom to attend to the needs of all students and their respective learning types. We have a range of active learners, and some students in our class have been diagnosed with ADHD and developmental delay. In our flexible seating class, we need 6 wobble chairs and 6 bouncy bands to improve students' focus while learning. Both award-winning tools have been proven to help our range of learners, because they provide a physical challenge and opportunity to release energy while simultaneously working. We need you to help us have a successful school year as we continue our work to teach the whole child.
