I believe learning should be fun and engaging. I try to keep my students engaged by creating hands on learning opportunities, crafts and fun activities that they will remember. We do not have an art program in our school and I try to incorporate art in my class on a weekly basis. I believe learning through a fun way helps students retain information and they actually enjoy learning. I just recently purchased a Cricut with my own personal money to use in the classroom with my students. This machine will help me create fun creative projects with my students to coincide with the topic we are learning in class. This machine can cut out die-cuts of different shapes in no time, allowing more time on learning and one-on-one with students. These tools will allow us to make class shirts and personalize our field day shirts as well. We truly look forward to learning in a fun and creative way this year! Thanks for your support!
