I was so gifted to be able to walk into an art room that already has a very nice kiln. However, I can't even begin to have any ceramics projects until I have safe and necessary equipment to run such an item. My students will get to see how art applies to the world around them. They will have the opportunities in my classroom to create meaningful art pieces that can last for years. Donors make my classroom possible and change the learning environment to something more memorable. I will be introducing ceramic tile and basic handbuilding. Both of these techniques are still used today and were used by art masters of the past, and can also lead to job opportunity.
