These supplies will give my students more materials to use. The sight word game and the magnet set will be used for students who are struggling with their site words. These items will be used to practice what has already been taught. The Building Fluency card bank will help students read faster and with more confidence. This is an activity that can be done with 1st and 2nd grade students who have already finished a phonics activity and are waiting for their classmates to complete their work. The "I Can Read" book series will help more advanced students with reading comprehension. These books will be read together as part of an entire class lesson on the SmartBoard at times, and at other times they will be used for silent reading. The beans bags will help make reading a more pleasurable experience.
