The possibilities for using technology resources in the art classroom are almost as limitless as the students' imaginations. These iPads would be used year-round for my students to document their artwork as it is being made and share their work via online galleries that are shared directly with parents, family members, and the larger community. Putting these resources in the hands of students fosters their sense of ownership and pride in the work they create. It helps them to connect what they do in school to their families and their lives at home. Artwork documentation and sharing provides students with accountability and allows them to reflect on their work in meaningful ways. This process helps them grow and move forward with essential skills.
