My students are very interested in world news and articles. They will love these magazines in both English and Spanish. They love the nonfiction articles the most but they also enjoy paired texts, poetry and fiction material as well. These magazines offer authentic (not translated) texts that include a variety of topics and are aligned to the Common Core literacy standards. Because these magazines include a variety of topics that they are interested in, the students will make connections and learn about world issues as well. This will help them prepare for their middle school years and be college and career ready.

About my class
