Students come to me from a variety of backgrounds and a variety of disabilities. They all are wanting to succeed! My students in my class struggles with making connection both academically and socially. Together we work to build on each other's strengths and have lots of celebrations along the way. We are lacking materials to help my students make connection with the everyday world they live in. My goals is to help them through mentor text, take home books and hands on materials make the much needed connections with this amazing world.

About my class
