These manipulatives will provide a hands-on learning experience for our students. Your donations will help bring abstract mathematics to life, promoting critical thinking in a variety of ways. These tools will make algebra accessible to kids of all backgrounds and learning styles. Some students have difficulty with algebraic manipulations, a skill necessary for high school and college mathematics. Visual tools help students make sense of algebraic rules. They also provide a medium through which students can translate abstract concepts into concrete examples. With a strong foundation in fundamental algebra, our students will be better prepared for the rigors of higher mathematics, allowing them to remain competitive in the age of technology.
