Reading is a wonderful way for students to work on their imagination skills and comprehension, however, reading isn't enjoyable for some students. Some students don't enjoy reading because they never gained the skills needed to fully understand their reading. Though this can be frustrating for the students, it is more than possible to change the way they view reading. That is where my project comes in. With a reading corner, students will be able to comfortably read their just right books silently and independently. With this available to students, they will be able to gain confidence in their abilities as well as work towards being on the proper reading level.
In my classroom, we have an incentive that allows students to earn prizes when they read at great lengths. Gaining funds from this project would really be wonderful for my students because they want to be able to grow. They want to be able to have the proper resources and supplies to be successful at reading and their everyday studies. We really appreciate your support!
