My hope is that by allowing students an appropriate way to release energy or even anger will help improve their academic achievements. These bikes are small and will fit under their desks which will allow them to continue participating in class or doing independent work. The students will also be able to take turns using them which will give them valuable practice in teamwork. Some articles state that being able to ride while reading makes kids smarter and healthier. Others talk about how they boost the moods of students and relieve stress. All of these reasons prove the mini bikes would be very beneficial to my students.
