As of right now, we are using a small, borrowed rug. There isn't enough room for all of my students on this rug. All of our lessons are taught from the SmartBoard so we spend the majority of our day on the carpet. My students prefer the carpet over their desk. I have hearing impaired students and it is important for them to be close to me to ensure they can hear. My students need room to spread out their books and sit comfortably, whether it's during math time or reading. A larger rug would allow all of my students to sit comfortably and receive a better learning experience.
