The playful side of Kindergarten is getting pushed aside while we continue to push kids to build their math and literacy skills in Kindergarten! But why can't we do both? A paint easel will give students another outlet for their CREATIVITY while continuing to build their academic skills. My kids will have another space to create and paint. They can also use it to draw, write, respond to texts, and develop their fine motor skills! It will help incorporate the best of both worlds...creativity and learning! The easel also provides flexibility because it can be taken outside to observe the world around us or used in the classroom. The easel will also offer students another flexible seating workspace throughout our day.
