These instruments will provide an opportunity for my students to engage in active music making (Orff). Students at this K-8 charter school will sing, move and play in performing arts classes and develop music skills that will carry through to high school. Performing arts classes are an excellent venue for active involvement. Students interact, create and are able to express themselves. Establishing a supply of musical instruments for the 422 students at CA will help my students develop as musicians. My school is the first downtown charter in Kansas City. Your generous donation will keep the music alive!
