We obtained our first 3D printer last September through a Donor's Choose funded project. Since then, my students have become 3D designers and began learning code. The most impressive part is that they are only third graders! As we continue to learn about using 3D modeling software, we have found that we are in need of an additional 3D printer to keep up with our projects that we are designing. We also will be using the printer to help us design our tiny homes during our project based learning unit. The proudest moment I had as a teacher was when I saw every one of my students using a 3D designing program during lab. I am excited to be a part of my students' learning adventure in engineering and design.
