Students today are asked to sit for long periods of time. Having these stools will provide students with an outlet for restlessness and a release of their excess energy. Students will use these chairs throughout the day while reading, writing, listening, interacting, and collaborating. Aggressive wobbling on a KORE Chair strengthens core muscles and increases blood flow to the brain. Thereby, fulfilling the requirement for fidgety kids to move. In the past, my students have benefited from flexible seating options such as ottomans, fancy chairs, and bouncy balls. They stayed engaged longer which resulted in a more productive learning experience.
