My students are always encouraged to follow current science events that are taking place all around them. Science magazines provide students with a collection of news articles at an appropriate reading level for my sixth grade students. Topics covered in the Science World magazines provide students with insights on how real scientists solve real-world issues. Your contribution may also introduce students to many different fields of study in science and technology that may spark their interest and perhaps motivate them to pursue careers in similar fields. Your generous donation will enhance my students' understanding of scientific practices and, simultaneously, improve literacy skills through reading content-rich news articles. Your gift will improve SCIENCE LITERACY so my students may develop into well-informed, responsible citizens of their community.
