These read aloud books will help my students become engaged in reading and learning! Each of these books are filled with many lessons such as teaching the craft and structure of a text, incorporating writing skills, inferring, key ideas, details, questioning, and making connections. Having these books in our classroom will help to create a library of learning for my students! Each book is different and has an important lesson to teach the children. A goal of mine this year is to make reading fun, engaging, adventurous, and exciting to each and every single one of my children! These books will have a loving home for many years to come in our 1st grade classroom!!
