My students have a long day within the classroom. They are required to sit throughout each period to learn. As adults have a hard time sitting in hard chairs, imagine how a 5 year old feels! My students, as much as they try to stay still, most of the time can't help but move their bodies around. These alternate seating options will be great for my students, especially those that need that extra movement throughout the day. I feel it will help them get that extra movement all while helping them to focus at what is being taught on a daily basis.
