The best way to help a dyslexic student is to directly teach them the components of reading in a multi-sensory way. Boogie Boards will allow students to work on their spelling, reading, and writing in an interactive way. Dry erase boards could serve the same purpose; however, Boogie boards don't rely on markers that dry out too quickly or get ruined by students "pushing too hard" on them! My students need a different way of learning strategies for improving their reading. Boogie Boards are definitely a different method of manipulating words and letters in order to read, write, and spell better.
