Our school has a goal to increase science achievement by 10%. This project would allow students to have additional science and math enrichment helping us meet that goal. WeDo Robotics is a fantastic entry level STEM kit that introduces math and science vocabulary and simple coding. The materials are re-usable and would grow with each grade level. FIRST LEGO League provides students the opportunity to gain confidence in STEM skills, collaboration, presentation and public speaking. Participating and attending a FIRST event would provide my students exposure to additional STEM opportunities.
