I am requesting computers for my classroom because we have a serious need for technology. I have time set aside every day for intervention and enrichment time. Some of the intervention and enrichment programs are set to be run on computers, but I do not have working computers in my classroom. My students will use the computers during center time while I work in small groups. Everyone will have more access to what they need academically, thus building more confidence. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. I recently won a wobbly chair at a mindset workshop. We have to rotate the chair daily from kid to kid because everyone wants to use it. Kids realize when they are moving, focusing comes easier. A donation of yoga ball chairs would provide the same effect as the wobbly chair in a safer way.
