With these items, my student can have these small accommodations they need to face challenges and come out successful. Every student learns differently and the resources that are readily available play a large part in their learning success. My students who are easily distracted by noise or light can have their needs met with the noise-canceling headphones, which block out noises that may be hard to ignore. Without the noise they can stay on task and complete their work. By reducing the light with the blue covers, my students can have a much more calming and inviting environment to reduce any stress or frustration the heavy, fluorescent lights gave to them. Being able to meet a child's need in every way is my goal as an educator. Unfortunately, we don't always have the funding to provide awesome resources for our students. I would love to see how much my students can learn with the addition of some tools for them to access at any time.
