Our student Chromebooks are essential in my classroom. The majority of the daily lessons use this technology. Many of these lessons come with some sort of interactive sound, i.e. self-paced video, game, text-to-speech. Allowing students to self pace and feel comfortable as a learner is very important. When they play and replay a lesson without the concern of having their volume too loud it allows them to focus and fully engage in the instruction. Even my most careful students run into issues with headphones at sometime in the year. I am excited to provide for them some quality headphones that are guaranteed to be replaced if damaged.
