The goal of this project is to get our students to improve their reading skills. Many of our students come reading significantly behind grade level and by developing a love of independent reading we can decrease the achievement gap in literacy. We want students to love reading here at MCA but also to become lifelong readers. This project will help our students track their reading through a daily journal and keep themselves and the staff organized through the use of bookshelves. Your contribution will help a new generation of students foster a love of reading that we hope will continue for the rest of their lives.
