Being from a small rural school, resources are provided but also limited. School life is crucial for these children. My goal is for students to feel safe and comfortable. Being able to create a space for the students to be comfortable in learning and reading will enhance learning outcomes. They will be surrounded by a plethora of literature. A larger variety of leveled books would help meet the needs of each student and increase comprehension and reading level. My students are eager to come to school and adding these materials will definitely add a spark to our classroom family and set an exciting tone for the year! By adding alternate seating students would be able to choose different sitting styles while learning.
