Accidents and mishaps occur and instead of letting that moment affect the whole day, our students need some daily essentials to get them through the day. These items can come in handy to help the student feel refreshed. Our families have limited resources and the student's item of clothing may get soiled or torn. It may be one of the few pieces of clothing that the student owns. With some needle and thread, I've patched up many pieces of clothing (pants, jackets, shoes -- you name em!) I've also had students who have pants that are way to big on them and would benefit from having a belt. Having clean socks, underwear and clothes can do absolute wonders for anyone. Instead of being in soiled clothing or suffering from "wardrobe malfunction", these items will be greatly appreciated. By having clean clothing, our students can focus on learning. It will be one less worry and one less of a distraction!
