These works of classic literature will be used to show examples of how authors used their voice, setting, structure, flow, and words to write great stories that people want to read. The students will be able to use these books to get ideas for their own writing. They will also be using these works to pull out quotes from the authors that have meaning for them in order to see how there is power in words. Students will be writing reviews on the literature and continuations to the stories. The more the students are exposed to great writers, the better their writing will become. I can't wait to see their minds and pencils in action!
