Students spend much of their day independently working, especially in reader's and writer's workshop. When students of every shape and size enter a classroom they should have options of where they can best learn & work. Our classroom community operates as a family and I hope to bring the comfort and safety of home into the classroom. By adding the couch and coffee table, students can sit on the couch and read and journal or they can sit at the coffee table and use technology in a comfortable manner. All learning needs will be met with these added options to the classroom.
