With these texts, students are not just reading stories, they are learning how to make predictions, infer meaning, build vocabulary, and discuss themes with their reading partners and as a whole class.\r\nIn our room, reading looks like students curled up in cozy spots with books they are excited to choose, small groups gathered around a table sharing ideas, and whole-class conversations filled with friendly debates and laughter. These moments have helped reading feel less like a task and more like an adventure. Personally, I believe books are doors to endless adventures, and I've been lucky to go on so many myself!\r\nStudents were thrilled to open the packages as they arrived, and everyone was eager to add these new titles to their book bags. Thank you for helping my students see themselves as readers, thinkers, and storytellers.
