Donations to this project will make a difference in my students learning by accelerating and supporting their learning. The headphones with the microphone will help the students hear themselves as learners and help them know what goals to set for their learning. By having a decent set of headphones for my students, it will help with keeping them on task, it will help other students in the classroom who are trying to learn without noisy distractions, and it will help with classroom management of not fighting and arguing over a set of headphones. It will help teach respect of property and responsibility by treating the materials nicely and taking care of something that can be called "theirs". There are so many benefits to have headphones in the classroom, especially the ones with the built in microphone piece. I can do many more engineering activities, create more hands on learning, and the students have more ownership for their work because they can see and "hear" themselves learning.
