My students use real live books every single day in my class. We begin our day with Silent Solo Reading and anytime they finish a task early they reach for something wonderful to read. Our current class library is old, tattered and musty. I have already discarded many dated and culturally inappropriate titles so my students are in great need of fresh, clean fascinating books. We need titles that are relevant, interesting, funny and engaging. We also need systems for managing the titles to make them more accessible and easy to find.
