Would you like to help children have access to books wherever they are? I teach in a special education class that services students in kindergarten to fifth grade. I usually have between 20 and 25 students coming to my classroom throughout each day. We are a small elementary school in a farming community in northern Maine so my students have a somewhat more isolated life than many who live in more populated areas. We do not have bookstores around and many of my students are about 10 miles from the closest library.
