My students attend a Title I school in South Los Angeles and represent a wide range of backgrounds, strengths, and learning needs. As a resource teacher supporting students with IEPs, I work closely with struggling readers to help them develop foundational literacy skills, build confidence, and foster a positive connection to learning at their own pace. Through individualized instruction, I tailor support to each student’s unique needs, helping them overcome challenges and make meaningful progress. With the right tools and resources, my students can strengthen their reading abilities and find their voices as confident learners.
