Many autistic students have trouble sitting still for even a few minutes. In my classroom we received one stability ball a couple of years ago and our kids absolutely LOVE it! They have to take turns sitting on it but one could definitely notice an improvement in their ability to focus, complete work, and an increase in positive behaviors. Our students are constantly seeking sensory input and these chairs would provide our kids with a way to gain that input. The 16 stability chairs will allow all the Strategies students in our building to move while sitting, which will help increase their focus and attentiveness during seat work. The stability ball chairs have several benefits including improved posture and increased attentiveness in the classroom. These chairs allow students a way to wiggle and move while working. These chairs would make such a huge impact on learning for our wonderful students. Thank you for making it possible!!
